The Maldives is synonymous with postcard-perfect overwater villas, powdery white sand, and turquoise lagoons—and Centara’s Maldivian properties embody this tropical paradise. Karam Spaces was tasked with furnishing key areas of these resorts, from the vibrant beachfront restaurants to the serene private suite balconies, ensuring every piece stood up to the coastal climate while elevating the resort’s luxury aesthetic.
Beachfront & Poolside: Durable Comfort Under The Sun
At the Maldives resort’s pool and beach areas, Karam Spaces supplied our signature weather-resistant sun loungers, designed with quick-drying fabric and rust-proof aluminum frames to withstand saltwater and UV exposure. These sleek, low-profile loungers complement the Maldives’ minimalist tropical vibe, offering guests a plush yet sturdy spot to unwind with a view of the Indian Ocean. We also crafted custom teak side tables for poolside cabanas, their natural wood grain adding warmth to the crisp, modern design of the resort’s pool deck.
Coastal Dining:
Rustic Luxury With A Tropical Twist
The resort’s oceanfront restaurant demanded furniture that balanced durability with visual appeal. Karam Spaces delivered woven rattan dining chairs paired with solid teak tabletops, creating a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere that mirrors the Maldives’ laid-back luxury. Our upholstered banquette seating, wrapped in stain-resistant outdoor fabric, provides comfortable communal dining spaces, while the open-air café features our lightweight aluminum café tables—ideal for ocean breezes and effortless maintenance.

Intimate Luxury, Tailored For Tropical Living
In the overwater and beachfront suites, Karam Spaces designed custom balcony seating: handwoven rattan armchairs with weatherproof cushions, offering guests a private retreat to watch sunset over the lagoon. Inside, our streamlined accent chairs, upholstered in breathable, moisture-wicking fabric, add a touch of contemporary elegance without compromising on comfort. Each piece was engineered to resist humidity and sand, ensuring longevity in the Maldives’ unique climate.
